Some of those sound promising.

Most are probably gonna be "eh" to some extent because they're sequels, but I don't care--like hell I'm missing Ice Age 3 and whatnot. XD

G.I.Joe I'm not sure about as I wasn't a fan as a kid. I really only want to see it for 2 actors, one of which who was the ninth doctor.

Ninth Doctor, well there ya go. :D

Of course they're probably not gonna all be winners, but I'm sure out of the other movies out there they'll be better.

It's not like they can magic up good movies ever, not like in the old days.

Man I can't even reply correctly...

Can't resist Nine. Or Ten. But mostly Nine--you never forget your first Doctor. XD

At least "Up" will likely be good as it's Pixar. Maybe not as good as most of their other stuff but still. "Ice Age" worries me it'll be "Shrek 3" all over again with all it's family-ness and everybody finding/wanting mates now...

Checked out a list of the top 50 movies for this year and it seemed like at least half (if not more) weren't original. Just remakes, new spins on old stories, sequels, or based off existing superheroes and whatnot.

You and your Doctors. At least Nine is getting out there a bit now for your easier access.

Up did seem promising. As much as I'm not a fan of the 3D style, I will admit that Pixar does make a good movie despite that. Hopefully Ice Age won't be a Shrek 3. As much as it's fun to get like a continuation, pull them too far and you ruin a good thing.

I've always said the only things they make anymore are sequels and remakes. It's honestly all I ever see, yet they never remake the things that would be awesome because of it. I can't think of anything right now, but I know that the people in charge could do better.

I just really wanted to use this icon for once...

I really wasn't too keen on "Up" when I saw the first short ad for it; just didn't seem all that interesting. After seeing a theatrical trailer, I changed my mind. I'm still thinking it'll be along the lines of "Ratatouille" and "Wall-E"--both good, but still pretty low in the ranks of Pixar's work.

What's sad is that anything that's even vaguely original is likely a crappy rom com or something equally dumb. I'm sure there's all kinds of good ideas they could come up with, but instead it's like wasting whatever talent there is out there.

(nice icon XD)

Yeah, Up had that feeling for me when I saw a trailer the first time, but after seeing it again/another one I've changed a bit on my initial take of it.

It's a really a shame that there seems to be such a lack of decent original ideas. I mean if there can be as many original books as there are, fuck like they can't do the same for movies.

But then again, look at the TV shows that are coming out anymore. So many stupid people becoming stupider and settling for so much less than could be offered.
It really is a shame that talent is wasted on such stupid movies. Like that '17 Again' movie. That type of movie has been done to death with the age swap-type thing.

I want to watch more movies, but I end up just sticking to the same old stuff. Anything I buy is stuff I've seen and liked. I haven't purchased anything really new for a while. I miss you 1990s movies.
